Description
I tried it on safari 4 beta on windows, and it worked fine.

Does that help?
Note that the same user with the same Mac does not have any problems when using the UI with Firefox
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US;
