Add views and comments on db columns

I think we should just use ddlutils and add some views and db column comments. Maybe in the next release (fall) it could be experimental, then if people use the views we can firm them up... There are some issues like where subject lookups happen (maybe some config params could programmatically make decisions)... We add columns so infrequently I think this would add value and not be hard to support, but we can decide if it is in core or a contrib (I know it was mentioned contrib earlier, but I think it would be nice to have in core since ddlutils will be db agnostic and handles comments and views) .
